With this first post, I would like to lay before you, some initial background information. This idea grew out of my own frustrations with the political process in our country. I am not a member of any political party, unless you want to count the independent party, but I don't think such a party with that name exists. I am 55 years of youth and in all my voting years, I have never been invited to any one's party. :(
So I am having a party, The American Eagle Party. Maybe you have never been invited to a party like me, so I'm inviting you! :)
It does not matter if you are some independent like me, a Democrat, Republican or regularly attend some other party. All that matters is that you want to come and are willing to BYOB, (bring your own brains). I am trying to be lighthearted here, but I am really serious!

1. Our Lady Liberty - "How's She Doing"
This blog is to hopefully Illuminate anyone interested, with history, information, trivia and resources about this experiment called, the United States of America. To know where we are going or desire to go, we need to understand where we have been. This is to provide the initial tools WE need to build our party house. Background information, American History, quotes from our founding fathers and others that have contributed to this U.S.A. experiment, and even our founding documents (links), are what you can expect to find there. Illuminate!
2. An American Eagle - "When I-Magination Becomes Real"
This blog will hopefully Inspire and tell a story about The American Eagle Party becoming a reality. This is a fictional work in progress by me, shared on line. It is the story of a writer, Benjamin Thomas Silent (Ben Silent), that imagines what it would be like to see the U.S.A. return to its greatness. He shares many of his stories with his only one true friend, Kahlil Abrams. Kahlil is named after Kahlil Gibran and his mother is Muslim and his father Jewish. Conversations between Ben and Kahlil are carried on long distance over the phone. Kahlil is a successful business man living in California and Ben is a small town, homegrown midwest man. They met in highschool, became fast friends and have maintained their close relationship through their years. Each week Kahlil calls Ben and asks just one question, "what have you written?" As Ben begins to write, 'An American Eagle,' his friend encourages him to put it on line in a blog. Soon, the blog begins to take on a life of its own, and The American Eagle Party becomes a reality. Inspire!

Purely Background and a Platform Repository, for the Development of a New Political Party. This blog is to Initiate! It is for party members to post, ask, suggest, help, encourage and in general, to take action!!! Too many have been silent for too long, not believing that they have a voice or if their voice was heard that it would not matter anyway. Too many feel as if there representatives in government, do not and will not listen to the will of WE the people. Too many are afraid of losing our country, our rights and our freedom. Too many are angry. Too many blame others and not a few, turn to violence. Too many people think we have no other choice than to hope things change. Too many have lost confidence in the media and in the dominant two party system. Too many of US are divided! I believe there are many and in sufficient numbers that would believe and would act, IF WE had the power and a vehicle to make it happen. When WE truly get together, WE can change the course of our country, our lives and our futures and the futures of our children's children and theirs and theirs and theirs and onward! Initiate!
The next post to this blog will be an introduction to 8 principle ideas of how to take back control of our country. Each of 7 present ideas (most of which are already being tried), will be shared individually here in the future. Then finally, a another future post will show why it is ONLY #8 (a new political party), which can truly be successful, IF WE the people, will act. Initiate!
